1 lb of Asparagus (ends trimmed)
2 tbsp of Olive Oil
1 tsp of Salt
1/2 tsp of Black Pepper
1/2 tsp of Garlic Powder
1 Lemon (juiced and zest for garnish)
Optional: 2 tbsp of Grated Parmesan Cheese (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepping the Asparagus
- Wash and Trim: Rinse the asparagus under cold water and trim off the tough ends.
- Season: Place the asparagus in a mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss to coat evenly.
Grilling the Asparagus
- Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill: Place the asparagus on the grill pan in a single layer. Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side or until tender and charred to your liking.
- Garnish: Once grilled, transfer the asparagus to a serving plate, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and sprinkle with lemon zest and grated Parmesan cheese, if using.
