Fresh fruit salad with strawberries, blueberries, oranges, red grapes, kiwis, grapefruits, mangos

Quick and Easy Fresh Fruit Salad

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup Strawberries (halved or quartered depending on size)

1 cup Blueberries (rinsed and drained)

1 cup Red Grapes (halved to reduce choking hazard)

2 Kiwis (peeled and sliced)

2 Oranges (peeled, segmented, and cut into bite-sized pieces)

1 Grapefruit (peeled, segmented, and cut into bite-sized pieces, white membranes removed)

1 Mango (peeled, pitted, and cubed)

Instructions

Preparing the Fruit
  1. Wash and Dry: Begin by rinsing strawberries, blueberries, and red grapes under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  2. Slice and Dice: Use your sharp knife on the cutting board to halve or quarter strawberries, slice kiwis, segment oranges and grapefruits, and cube the mango.
  3. Gentle Toss: In the mixing bowl, combine all the cut fruits. Use the spatula or large spoon to gently toss the fruits together. This ensures an even mix without crushing any delicate pieces.
Dressing (Optional)
  1. Juice the Citrus: If you’re adding a dressing, juice one of the oranges and the grapefruit using the citrus juicer.
  2. Sweeten (Optional): Add a touch of honey or agave syrup to the citrus juice if desired, and whisk to combine.
  3. Drizzle and Toss: Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the pieces.
